The following outlines our
COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols and Procedures
for the Polish Home Club, Inc.
THE LOUNGE

When coming to the Club to visit the Lounge:

  • Members, and their guest, will be required to wear their face masks from the time they enter the front doors on Broadway until the time they are seated at the bar or table.

  • Face masks will be required when going to the restrooms and when moving around within the Club facilities.

  • The Lounge is for MEMBERS ONLY. Each Member will be required to show their valid Membership Card when entering the Lounge. You will be checked in by a Board Member. If bringing a guest, they will also need to be checked in as well.

  • Each person entering will be required to undergo a brief screening. Their temperature will be taken and each person will be required to sanitize their hands with the provided sanitizer before proceeding to their seat.

Please note that the existing "pre shutdown" procedures and restrictions continue to remain in place. As a reminder, the Polish Home Club will continue to:

  • Discontinue the use of any glassware for public beverage/food consumption. ALL beverages (mixed drinks, wine, shots, etc.) will be served in disposable plastic cups.

  • Restrict outside food items available for common consumption in the Club. This includes discontinuing the free snacks table in the Lounge. All items will be disposed of and not available until a future date. This will also include all future covered dish parties and instances where outside food items are available for sharing. Keep in mind that Members and guests can still bring in their own food/snacks for their individual consumption.

  • Frequently sanitize any items that the general public has access to. This will include disinfecting door handles, chair backs, the Lounge bar top and rail, and any other items that the Club identifies that is considered to be common use.

Access to ENTER the Ballroom will happen through the Lounge. For any Club event held in the Ballroom, the doors to the building will open only 30 minutes prior to the start of the event (i.e. 12:30pm the doors will open for a 1pm event). The front doors will not open any earlier than 30 minutes prior to an event. The Ballroom will be open with limited capacity and is already arranged to promote social distancing. Tables will be more spread out throughout the ballroom utilizing the full footprint of the Ballroom. We realize that this may be an inconvenience, but there will only be a total of 6 people permitted at a table.
